This interdisciplinary symposium aims to explore transformative advances in materials design, synthesis, and characterization — spanning quantum materials to bio-related and bio-inspired systems.
The Molecular Frontiers symposium will be held 3-4 December in RunAn and is open to high school students as well as researchers; thus, the talks for this event are designed to be highly accessible, in a "popular science" format. The renowned researcher and author Emma Frans will be the moderator of the event.
The event is co-organized by the Nano Area of Advance at Chalmers in collaboration with Molecular Frontiers. Molecular Frontiers is a global, non-profit organization consisting of scientists and educators that organizes several events each year around the world. Its main purpose is to promote young people’s understanding of and interest in science.
Technical work shop for researchers December 2
On December 2, there will be a technical, more expert-oriented workshop with the same speakers held in Kollektorn, which is open only to researchers.
You must register separately for the symposium December 3-4 and the technical workshop December 2.
