TSV-KNA

Tool for assessing the economic consequences of infiltration and inflow water

Infiltration and inflow (I/I) water constitutes a significant share of the wastewater conveyed and treated in Swedish sewer systems and can lead to increased costs, sewer overflows and basement flooding. As part of the SVU project "Assessing the Economic Consequences of Infiltration and Inflow Water", the Excel-based tool TSV-KNA has been developed to support simplified economic analyses of measures addressing I/I-water. The tool is based on cost-benefit analysis and incorporates input uncertainty as well as example values and key figures to support users.
